We’re a rapidly scaling creative design company in Toronto, Canada (but really, our teams are global). You’ll be working with a team of multicultural creative talent in a 100% remote work environment, whether it’s on e-learning creatives, branding, logos, graphics or AI-enhanced creative – we’re passionate storytellers looking for like-minded people to join the MK Way creative culture.

Handling multiple projects and individuals while continuously improving systems and processes is a key aspect of this role.

  • Experience with timeline estimate for design-based projects mentioned above.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project tasks on our project management tool (Monday.com)
  • Coordinate day-to-day project communication via Google Workspace & Slack with our full-time team, our clients, and our vetted talent pool of freelancers.
  • Be the client-facing person from onboarding to launching our services.
  • You’ll be onboarding clients, and providing them with daily communication.
  • Manage timelines, escalations, bottlenecks and deliverables to get tasks completed.
  • Manage the quality of projects & their deliverables from soup to nuts.
  • Proactively look to solve problems and continuously improve our system.
  • Work directly with our CEO to deliver scope of work documents for sales proposals.
  • You’re someone who is open-minded, coachable, and imaginative.
  • Conduct weekly virtual standup meetings 1x per week.
  • Make Loom videos to educate our team & our clients with how-to videos
  • Being aware of the backlog of weekly tasks, deliverables, deadlines, and bottlenecks
  • Resolving the internal conflict between team members & their timelines.
  • Prepare for client meeting agendas and/or virtual presentations on Google Meet.
  • Knowledge of applying “Keizen” to our projects, and proactively delegate/coordinate the creation of SOPs to improve client onboarding, team workflow, and productivity in our 100% remote workplace.
  • High level of empathy – it’s important for our Project Managers to be good people to peers and customers.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly Self-managed to work in a 100% online WFH team environment.
  • High level of empathy and understanding of people and user experiences.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant project management experience in a design role, agency, or similar.
  • We’ll consider previous experience in online digital project management, consulting, or similar.
  • Incredible time management skills.
  • Excellent writing competency and communication skills.
  • A constant desire to learn more about the latest design and marketing trends.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and organization skills.
  • Self-motivated individuals with a desire to do their best every day.
  • Comfortable being on video and hosting online video meetings on Google Meet or Loom
  • Experience or certifications in Scrum or Agile methodologies is a nice to have.

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience in a startup, or design agency
  • Knowledge of web development best practices, experience with WordPress/Shopify UI design
  • Familiarity with brand strategy frameworks and moodboard ideation
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS or creative development collaboration
  • Experience with tools like monday.com, Slack, and Google Workspace

SOFT SKILLS

You’re a kind, collaborative, curious human. You lead with empathy and see creativity as a superpower for change. You care deeply about the people you work with and the impact you leave behind. You’re adaptable, ego-free, and constantly evolving.
