We’re a rapidly scaling creative design agency in Toronto, Canada (but really, we’re global). We’re a team of multicultural storytellers, magic makers, and digital innovators who design with one mission in mind: to save the internet from bad AI design. From Brand Strategy to Web UX/UI, and AI-Enhanced Creative, we are creating beautifully designed digital experiences that blend AI-Powered automation with human brilliance.

We’re a fully remote team that believes in kindness, transparent communication, task ownership, and big-picture thinking. And we’re on the lookout for an experienced designer who can talk the talk, walk the walk, and who can help us co-pilot brand, web & AI creative services at MK-Way.com.

THE GIG

We’re looking for a strategic, multidisciplinary creative powerhouse with at least 6+ years of proven experience across brand identity, marketing, multimedia, social media, UI/UX, and storytelling. Someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and design. Someone who thinks in systems, not just styles. Someone who’s passionate about innovation, obsessed with the craft, and sees creative direction not as a title, but as a mindset.

As a Graphic Designer you’ll partner with our Creative Director and collaborate to shape and execute our boldest ideas. You’ll lead visual thinking for client work and bring strategy to life through boundary-pushing design.

Your Mission

  • Creative Vision & Direction
    Lead visual direction across client projects, including branding, multimedia projects, social media campaigns, UI/UX design, and presentations. Help define the creative vision, guide execution, and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Strategic Thinking
    Connect design to business outcomes. Shape creative solutions that are both beautiful and effective, marrying aesthetics with intent. Translate big-picture goals into bold visual narratives.
  • Mentorship & Leadership
    Elevate the work of our design team through thoughtful feedback, skill development, and leading by example. Be a mentor and motivator who brings out the best in others.
  • Collaboration
    Work alongside our Creative Director and project teams to lead client presentations, pitch conceptual ideas, and communicate strategy-backed design thinking clearly and confidently.
  • Trend-Tracking & Innovation
    Stay up-to-date on design, tech, AI tools, and UX best practices. Push creative boundaries, experiment with new technologies, and bring fresh thinking into our process.
  • Execution & Oversight
    Oversee the creative execution of logos, brand concepts, social media graphics, UI mockups, multimedia projects, illustrations, decks, and more. Ensure all work aligns with MK Way standards of excellence (a.k.a. pixel-perfect, meaningful, magnetic).

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • 6-10+ years of professional design experience (including working with marketing departments or an agency)
  • Deep portfolio of award-worthy work in branding, social media, UI/UX, and strategic creatives
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma, Canva, and AI tools like Midjourney or DALL·E
  • Experience in leading creatives who specialize in motion graphics and video editing
  • Experience developing strategic creative concepts that deliver results
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire creative teams
  • A user-centered mindset with strong visual storytelling instincts
  • A love for learning new tools (especially AI tools), pushing creative boundaries, and thinking beyond the brief
  • Fluent English speaker and writer with exceptional communication skills (must have minimum of B1 English proficiency)

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience in a startup, design agency
  • Knowledge of web development best practices, experience with WordPress/Shopify UI design
  • Familiarity with brand strategy frameworks and moodboard ideation
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS or creative development collaboration
  • Experience with tools like monday.com, Slack, and Google Workspace
